Kenneth W. “Bill” Loney

Mr. Kenneth W. “Bill” Loney, II 71, of Titusville, died on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, thirteen days after his wife Sue preceded him in death.

Bill was born on November 22, 1946 in Titusville to the late Kenneth W. and Mary E. Myers Loney, Sr. He married Colleen “Sue” McCann on July 22, 1967. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2018.

He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. After graduation Bill volunteered for the military but was deemed ineligible due to medical issues.

Bill worked at Grand Valley Manufacturing, Colonial Machine, and was last employed at Cyclops Specialty Steel as a hot mill operator until his retirement. He also independently owned several tractor trailer trucks and worked with his sons in the woods.

He enjoyed driving stock cars in his younger years and always liked going to dirt track races. His favorite NASCAR driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working in his garden, and being with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his two sons, Ronald D. Loney of Pleasantville and Donald G. Loney of Titusville; four grandchildren, Rhenda McMillen and husband Charlie, Tylor Loney and wife Brooke, McKenzie and Morgan Loney and fiancé Cody Dawson; three great grandchildren, Jayden, Madison, and Taylor; one brother Jerry L. Loney, Sr. of Pleasantville; a nephew Jerry Loney, Jr. and wife Amanda of Pleasantville and a niece Jodi Lynn Loney of Pleasantville; a sister in law Faye Wescoat and husband David of Titusville; and former daughters in law, Tina M. Wallace, and Jennifer A. Yarabinec.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother in law Lyle and Marian Magee.

Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Monday, August 20, 2018 from noon until 2 PM at which time a funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Bill Hopkins, officiating.

Interment will be at Jamison Corners Cemetery.
