Knox Man Accused of Leaving Meth Pipes Within Reach of 5-Year-Old Boy Due in Court Next Week

KNOX, Pa. (EYT) — A Knox man facing drug possession and child endangerment charges after borough police discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and related items in his house, is due in court next week.

Cameron Allen Goodman, 20, of Knox, is scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Long Turk at 10:30 a.m. on February 19.

According to court documents, on Tuesday, January 22, the Knox Borough Police Department filed the following charges against Goodman at Judge Long Turk’s office:

– Endangering Welfare of Children — Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense, Misdemeanor 1
– Make Repairs/Sell/Etc Offense Weapons, Misdemeanor 1
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (three counts)
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia (27 counts)
– Use Information To Own Advantage, Misdemeanor
– Failure To Notify Change In Address

The charges were filed following a visit to Goodman’s home on White Avenue on January 8.

According to a criminal complaint, around 3:41 p.m. on January 8, Patrolman Bowen went to a residence on White Avenue regarding another investigation that he was conducting. While in the residence, he observed a strong odor of marijuana.

The complaint states that after receiving a consent search, Patrolman Bowen “found the following items in a bedroom belonging to Cameron Goodman:”

– Aleve plastic bottle containing marijuana
– Brown medication bottle containing marijuana
– Baggie containing marijuana leaf
– Green mask with straps
– Purple tube with a pipe and tape containing burnt marijuana residue
– Green skeleton tube containing a pipe and burnt marijuana residue
– Green round tube with pipe and tape containing burnt marijuana residue
– Silver pipe with purple bottom containing marijuana residue
– Small black scale
– Large black scale
– Black plastic one touch container containing marijuana residue
– Glass jar with candle wax containing marijuana residue
– Silver/blue/camo pipe containing burnt marijuana residence
– Broken multi-color glass pipe containing burnt marijuana residue
– Red metal pipe with black electric tape containing burnt marijuana residence
– Brown/white slate pipe containing burnt marijuana residence
– Two vapes containing burnt THC oil
– Red “buddy” plastic container containing burnt marijuana residue
– Switchblade knife
– Prescription bottle with the label torn off containing “6” Trazodone Hydrochloride pills
– Pen tube case containing bristle pad with crack residue
– Clear glass pipe with blue tip and bristle pad containing crack residue
– Glass pipe with bristle pad containing crack residue
– Clear glass pipe containing crystal meth residue
– Broken glass pipe containing crystal meth residue
– Two glass tubes containing crystal meth residue
– Broken glass pipe containing crystal meth residue

These items were in reach of a known, five-year-old male at the residence.

Goodman remains free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.
