Knox Man to be Sentenced in St. Petersburg Bar Altercation

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — A Knox man will be sentenced next week on an assault charge stemming from an incident at a St. Petersburg bar.

According to court documents, 45-year-old Bobby G. Tasker, of Knox, entered a guilty plea on November 21 on a simple assault charge.

A charge of summary harassment was dismissed.

Tasker will be sentenced at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, by President Judge James Arner.

He is free on $1,000.00 unsecured bail.

Case Details:

Clarion-based State Police say the incident occurred at a St. Petersburg bar on February 4 when Tasker pulled a 46-year-old Parker man out of his chair and threw him to the ground.

The victim suffered a broken hip and a broken finger as a result of the altercation, according to police.
