Knox Woman Life-Flighted to UPMC Presbyterian Following One-Car Crash on Route 208

SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 7:25 p.m. on May 6, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 208, approximately one mile east of Lamartine, in Salem Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 37-year-old Carey Reed, of Knox, veered off the road due to her physical condition.

Her 2008 Dodge Caliber struck a tree after leaving the roadway, and Reed had to be extracted from the car, police say.

She suffered moderate injuries and was flown via life flight to UPMC Presbyterian, according to police.

She was using a seat belt.

The car sustained disabling damage.

No additional information was available.
