KOSSUTH, Pa. (EYT) – An intruder got a lot more than he was bargaining for when he entered an Ashland Township residence on Sunday night.

According to a criminal complaint, around 9:47 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, Clarion-based State Police Trooper Katherine Pettis was dispatched to a residence located on Homestead Lane in Kossuth, Ashland Township, for a reported burglary.

When Trooper Pettis arrived at the residence, 23-year-old Alec Jeffrey Biter, of Mineral Point, Cambria County, was lying on the floor with the homeowner standing over him at gunpoint.
