OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Land of Laughter Playground project, which was scheduled to begin in early June, was delayed a few weeks due to a delay in the arrival of the playground equipment to the city.

According to Kelly Amos, Director of Community Development for the City, the equipment was originally slated for delivery June 1, but was delayed until June 13. Amos said the delay was due to how busy the company the city bought the equipment from has been.

“We are hoping to have the equipment installed sometime the week of June 25,” Amos said. “The installer will let me know by June 20.”
