Lane Restriction in Place on Route 8 in Venango County

OIL CITY, Pa. – There is a lane restriction on Route 8 southbound in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

A left lane restriction is in place for a portion of the southbound roadway between the northern intersection with Old Route 8 and the exit for Route 308.

The restriction is expected to remain in place until repairs can be made to a pipe under the roadway.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 825 traffic cameras.
