Large Amount of Beer Seized After Three Men Charged with Selling Home Brew Online

MONTGOMERY CO., Pa. (EYT) – Officers from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement recently conducted criminal investigations regarding the unlawful sales of malt or brewed beverages without a license.

Investigators responded to advertisements on the MyBeerCollectibles.com and purchased beer from 35-year-old Jason Lee Carter, of Willow Grove, 23-year-old Austin Daniel Pearson, of Audubon, and 32-year-old David Jonathan Mandelbaum, of Bala Cynwyd.

During the investigation, search warrants were executed at their residences, resulting in the seizures of large quantities of malt or brewed beverages.

Misdemeanor charges of Sales of Malt or Brewed Beverages Without a License were filed via summons. Mandelbaum faces an additional charge for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
