Larry HatfieldLarry D. Hatfield, 78, of 411 Second St., Pleasantville, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at UPMC Hamot in Erie after a period of declining health.

Born April 25, 1938, in Middletown, Indiana, he was the son of the late John and Belle (Tranbarger) Hatfield.

Larry was a Graduate of Anderson High School in Indiana and went on to receive several college credits.

He was married to Wanda (Wilson) Hatfield June 29, 1963, in Los Angeles, California.

Larry worked as a truck driver for Coca-Cola and also spent many years as a bee keeper.

He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Some of his hobbies were fishing, hunting, and bee keeping. Larry was also an avid reader on History and Politics. He was also a member of the N.R.A.

Larry belonged to the Pleasantville United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters, Kim Bartles (Tom) Elk Grove, California, Amy Infante of Oil City, and Tracee Heno (Devin) New Castle, California.

Also surviving are 9 grand children, Brian, Staci, Courtney, Emily, Sarah, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Caroline, Keera; and 2 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother Glen Hatfield. Brothers in law Jim Wright and Sam Ross. Special Nephews Russ and Steve Hatfield; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son John Douglas Hatfield, a Brother Lowell Hatfield and a sister Ninalee Wright.

A Celebration of Life will be held this Saturday, April 15 at 2:00p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, with Pastor Janet Sill presiding.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the United Methodist Church in Pleasantville or to one’s favorite charity.
