Lawn Mower Races Debut at Mayfest on May 23

FRYBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Lawn Mower Races will debut at this year’s annual Mayfest celebration on Saturday, May 23, in Fryburg, Clarion County.

Registration for the races will be held in front of the fire hall from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. the day of the event.

Races will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded in stock, modified, and open classes.

Challenge races will be held at the end of class racing.

Drivers must register, and operators under 18 need written parental permission to participate.

No drivers under 18 will be permitted in the open class.

All drivers must sign a release form before racing.

A helmet, close toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants are required for all drivers.

Mower decks must be disconnected and removed to race.

There will be a safety inspection of all tractors prior to the race.
