Leah Mae (Ridenour) Mealy, 62, of Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Allegheny Township, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, in Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Fla.

Born July 22, 1953, in Natrona Heights, she was a daughter of the late Leland and Cora Frances (McGee) Ridenour.

Leah was employed as a site manager for six years with Crossgates Management, Indiana, Pa., and was also employed as an office manager by Apollo Milling Co., for four years, in North Apollo. She was a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, in Indiana, Pa., and was very active in animal rescue. Leah was an avid walker, avid dog lover, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband of seven years, Howard Mealy, of Lady Lake, Fla.; a son, Todd McGinnis (Lora), of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Jennifer Firman (Steve), of Pittsburgh; stepdaughters, Kim Nutter (Bernard), of Salisbury, Md., Elizabeth Jones, of Pocomoke, Md., Lori Six (Jeff), of Tionesta, and Jamie Say (Gregg), of Tionesta; a sister, Shelley Fisher (Chip), of Lower Burrell; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Max, Deuce and Princess.
