LEEPER, Pa. (EYT) — A Leeper woman has reached out on Facebook to help her son receive plenty of Christmas cards.

Dorothy Hagerich Loebach, formerly from the Pittsburgh area, posted on Facebook at www.facebook.com/groups/ClarionCountyFleaMarket/permalink/1786802714686732/?sale_post_id=1786802714686732 for her new neighbors to flood her autistic son Sam’s mailbox with holiday cards.

“One of the things he loves and can do independently is getting the mail. We have made a wooden tree for his room, and I’m trying to get it filled with cards,” Loebach wrote.

Their address is Sam Swaney, 21 Gunthrun Lane, Leeper PA 16233..

Loebach asks that the cards be printed because Sam has some vision issues.

According to Loebach, Thursday was a big day for Sam because he received a large envelope stuffed with cards.

“He loved seeing the big brown truck come down our lane for him,” Loebach said.
