As many of you know, there is rumor that a budget will be proposed at the November 2 Sugarcreek Borough council meeting to cut the police force down to two officers to cover 80 hours of patrol per week.

In a coverage area of just under 40 square miles, a population of 5000+, and a number of businesses, this is not acceptable.

As stated before this will cost response time, investigation time, patrol time, safety to the members of the community as well as the safety of our officers.

I ask that everyone come to the council meeting on November 2 at 7pm to show council that the community wants its police department.

If you absolutely CAN NOT make it I ask you to please email me a letter of support for the police department and I will hand deliver them to council at the meeting.

Please be sure to add your names to the emails so they can be verified as actual people.

Send your letters to rashbaugh03@gmail.com and I will deliver them to council. Thank you for your time.
