| January 9, 2019

FRANKLIN, Pa. – “Liberty Rocks the Cabaret” will debut on Friday, January 25, at Barrow-Civic’s Little Theatre.

The performance is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 25, Saturday, January 26, Friday, February 1, and Saturday, February 2.

This year’s Off-Barrow production is a variety show with more skits and a rock-n-roll soundtrack that will have you pumping your fist in the air, singing along, and rocking all night long!

It offers another original show under the direction of Casey McVay.

“Year after year, an amazing group comes together to create something undoubtedly adventurous and fun. This year, the show is above and beyond in the areas of comedy and music” said McVay.

“We brought back percussionist Derek Stewart, but, this time, he’s on a full drum set, which is sure to help audiences feel like they want to rock out with our live band. Plus, all the music this year is live – no tracks are used.”

The show’s cast and crew includes Casey McVay (Director/Producer/Cast), Hannah McCarthy (Assistant Director/Producer/Cast), Brooke Lawrie (Assistant Director of Skits/Writer/Cast), Jonathan Bartram (Writer/Cast), Matthew Beightol (Writer/Guitarist/Cast), Wendall Holmes (Bass Guitarist/Cast), Suzi Beach (Pianist/Cast), Derek Stewart (Percussionist/Cast), Aaron Ritsig (Tech/Cast), Andrew Ritsig (Tech/Cast), Tracy Brown (Tech/Cast), Nicholas A. Hess (Costumer), and the cast is completed with Ian Best, Ruth Cirillo, Mark Dougherty, Brianne Hennessy, Bill Hennessy, Joni Hulse, Jenny Jack, and Kelsey Wilson.

Audiences will also get the first up-close and personal glimpse of the stage and technical improvements made to the Little Theatre during the winter shutdown including a brand new stage and technical booth in the space.

Join this Off-Barrow cast and crew for a rockin’ evening at the Barrow-Civic’s Little Theatre on January 25, 26 and February 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m.
