Linda J. Sherman Logue, 66 of Etna formerly of Sligo died Monday January 6, 2014 at her home.

Born April 30, 1947 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Norman R. and Nina (Salapow) Sherman.

Linda was a 1965 Graduate of Union High School and attended Slippery Rock University.

For many years Linda worked in local retail and restaurant businesses.

Linda enjoyed quilting, baking and cooking, she was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and was always willing to discuss team strategies with any one who was willing to listen. She was a member of the Clarion County Garden Club.

Linda will fondly be remembered as a loving woman with a kind heart who went out of her way to help anyone in need.

She is survived by 1 daughter L. Andrea Logue of Pittsburgh, 1 son L. Dana Logue III and wife Minnie of Sligo, her mother Nina Sherman of Ellwood City, 3 granddaughters Samantha and Alexis Cieszynki of Pittsburgh and Dominika Logue of Sligo and 1 grandson L. Dana Logue IV of Sligo.

Linda is also survived by 1 Sister Emma Fischer (Drue) of Ellwood City, and 4 brothers, Norm Sherman (Burdell) of Florida, Tom Sherman(Ruth Ann) of Virginia, Jim Sherman of North Carolina, and Dave Sherman (Martha) of Berlin, PA.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Springtime memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
