Linda Richardson of Clarion passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 14, 2017, following a courageous six-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on October 21, 1952, in Pittsburgh to Joseph and Anna Mae (Hopper) Gally.

Linda spent most of her career providing clerical support to those serving in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Linda worked for the Allegheny County Police Department for over 15 years. She retired from the Clarion County District Attorney’s office in June 2016.

Linda spent most of her life in Pittsburgh, moving to Clarion in 2003 to be closer to her three grandchildren whom she adored.

She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, David; two daughters, Holly McNaughton and husband Chuck, of Limestone, and Danielle and her fiancé Chris Billiar, of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Ian, Kevin and Morgan; and her mother, Anna Mae Gally, of Blawnox.

In addition, she is survived by her two brothers, Joseph Gally and his significant other, Danette Dougherty, of Pittsburgh, and Sean Gally and wife Kelly of Hampton Township; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda will be remembered for the love that she had for her family, her sense of humor, and her incredible resilience.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice, 271 Perkins Road, Clarion PA 16214 (www.cfvna.org), or the Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital, One Hospital Drive, Clarion PA 16214 (www.clarionhospital.org).

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday.

An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 700 Wood Street in Clarion, to be followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Jonathan Scanlon will officiate.
