Local Girl to Travel to Germany for World Tap Championships

RIESA, Germany — A 12-year-old local girl will be traveling to Riesa, Germany, to compete at the World Tap Championships this December.

Kaylee Baumcratz, 12, will be traveling to Riesa, Germany, with the United States Tap Dance Team. She attends North Clarion Jr./Sr. High School and is a student at Dancer’s Studio in Clarion.

Kaylee is the only member of the USA Tap Team from the state of Pennsylvania.

She attended the championships last year and placed sixth in the world for the Junior Formation — Hungarian.
