Oil City Man Faces Charges for Threatening to Ram Residence With Vehicle

CANAL TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Charges have been filed against an Oil City man who allegedly threatened to ram a woman’s residence with his vehicle to get inside.

Court documents indicate the Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 42-year-old Henry Lazarte Licaros.

According to a criminal complaint, around 11:25 p.m. on July 27, a known female victim reported that Henry Lazarte Licaros arrived at her residence in Canal Township, Venango County, and demanded she let him inside to retrieve items from inside the residence, and demanded for her to return to her former residence in Oil City.

The victim told police that when she refused, he said he was going to ram the residence with his vehicle until he gained access. When she refused again, he allegedly went to his vehicle, and the victim then fled the residence to her vehicle and fled the scene, according to the complaint.

The complaint notes troopers then found damage to the northwest corner of the residence with paint transfer and vehicle glass inside the residence and on the ground.

Licaros was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland at 10:17 a.m. on July 29, on the following charges:

– Criminal Mischief — Damage Property, Misdemeanor 1
– Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor
– Stalking — Repeatedly Commit Acts To Cause Fear
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
– Accidental Damage To Unattended Vehicle Or Property, Summary
– Damage Real Property By Operate Motor Vehicle, Summary

He was lodged in the Venango County Jail pending $5,000.00 (10%) monetary bail.

He was then released after posting a $500 cash surety on July 29.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a..m. on August 26.
