State Police Calls: Local School Victim of Fraud, Rocks Scattered at Area Business

police sirenFRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls.

Cranberry Elementary School victim of fraud

According to police, an unknown person gained access to the Cranberry Elementary School District’s commercial account by unknown means at 12:41 p.m., Friday, June 16 and made four fraudulent purchases.

A school employee recognized the purchases and contacted the account provider.

Criminal mischief at area business

According to police, an unknown person scattered rocks in the Allstate Insurance parking lot located on Route 322 in Cranberry Township at 8 a.m., Tuesday, June 13.

The person then fled the scene.
