‘Lock Your Doors’ Warning Issued in Oil City After Early Morning Break-in

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police are asking for the public’s help with the investigation into an early morning break-in.

Police say the incident happened at 2013 Cedar Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the home and discovered that a rear kitchen window was opened by an unknown perpetrator.

After unlocking the rear door, the perpetrator fled the scene.

Anyone who may have noticed unusual activity in the area is asked to contact Oil City Police at 814-678-3080.

The Oil Cit Police Department reminds the community to secure their windows and doors while away from home.
