Lori Marwood Wheeler Burton, age 54, of McKean, formerly of Fairview, died on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, of a chronic illness at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on November 1, 1963, a daughter of the late Clifford and Shirley Wolf Marwood.

Lori graduated from Venango Christian High School, where she was a member of the State Champion girls’ basketball team.

She graduated from Mercyhurst College with a marketing degree.

She began her career with H&R Graphics in their marketing department and ended as a teacher’s aide at Fairview High School.

But her main job was caring for her family and her precious children.

Lori was the most caring person, always putting others before herself.

She loved all animals especially horses.

She enjoyed bowling, music, and dancing.

In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Wheeler and her grandmother Loraine Hoffman.

She is survived by her husband Jeff Burton of Edinboro; her two children: Ashley (David) Corsi of Albion and Austin Wheeler (Brittany Hayes) of McKean; and her grandson David Russell Corsi. She is further survived by her sister Kimberly Owens of Oil City, aunt Carol (Rick) Wiegel of Franklin, cousin John (Lisa) Brannon of Sharpsville and a sister-in-law Lisa Wheeler of Erie.

Friends are invited to a prayer service on Saturday, Dec. 16th at 12 Noon at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St. followed by a time of sharing.
