Mae Belle MannersMae Belle Manners, 77, of 1112 E 2nd St., Oil City, died at 7:38 pm Monday, April 17, 2017 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born July 9, 1939 in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Hosea B. and Opal Tingley Johnson.

Mrs. Manners was a secretary and had worked for Wolf’s Head, Pennzoil and Quaker State.

She was of the protestant faith. Mae loved secretarial work and enjoyed typing out bible studies.

On January 22, 1970, she married James R. Manners, Sr.

In addition to her husband, surviving is a daughter Naomi of Franklin, a son Robert E. Runninger, Jr of Oil City, two stepsons, James R. Manners, Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL and Jeffrey Allen Manners of Titusville; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Also surviving is a brother Richard A. McCreary and a sister Carolyn Watson, both of Franklin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Runninger.

Funeral services are private and will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
