BARKEYVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A Mercer man waived his preliminary hearing in connection to an incident where he allegedly posted sexually explicit pictures of an ex-girlfriend and lewd, threatening comments on his Facebook page.

According to court documents, the following charges against 47-year-old Wade B. Arms, of Mercer, have been transferred to Venango County Court of Common Pleas:

– Retaliation Against Witness or Victim, Felony 3
– Display Obscene/Sexual Materials, Misdemeanor 1
– Unlawful Dissemination of Intimate Image, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment – Communicate Lewd, Threatening, Etc. Language, Misdemeanor 3

Arms is currently free on a $50,000.00 unsecured bail.

This case is working its way through the court system.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint filed on April 9, Wade B. Arms posted sexually explicit photos of a known female victim on Facebook in retaliation for a PFA that she had filed against him.

The pictures showed the victim nude and were captioned, referencing the victim with lewd names. In addition, in the comment area, Arms allegedly made remarks that threatened bodily harm, the complaint states.

The Facebook posts were done without permission, according to the complaint.
