Man Allegedly Shoots Pistol 10 Times During Cherrytree Twp. Altercation

CHERRYTREE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 2:00 a.m. on April 26, an assault occurred on Old Route 8, Cherrytree Township, Venango County.

According to police, 32-year-old Daniel Lloyd Conway and 31-year-old Heather Iren Hawthorne, both of Titusville, were allegedly involved in the incident.

Police say Hawthorn allegedly slapped and kicked Conway.

Conway then allegedly shot a 9MM pistol 10 times into the ground in the vicinity of Hawthorne, according to police.

Conway was arraigned before District Judge Michael D. Snyder for violation of simple assault.

Unable to post $40,000.00 straight bail, Conway was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

Hawthorne was charged with harassment at Magistrate Fish’s office.

No other information was provided.
