Man Cited for Trespassing at Franklin State Police Barracks

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a Pleasantville man was cited after he was allegedly discovered trespassing in a restricted area at the Franklin State Police barracks.

According to police, around 1:30 p.m. on February 22, Scott Knowles, 55, of Pleasantville, was encountered in what police say is a restricted of the Franklin-based State Police parking lot.

Police said Knowles walked past two “Do Not Enter” signs posted at the entrance to the restricted area, which is designated for Emergency and Authorized vehicles only.

Knowles was issued a non-traffic citation for a violation of the criminal trespass statute.
