Man Injured After Crashing into Tree Along Route 8 in Victory Township

VICTORY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A man was transported to Grove City Hospital after his vehicle struck a tree along Route 8 in Victory Township on Thursday morning.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 8:47 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 31-year-old Philip T. Rosenstern of Aliquippa, Pa., was operating a 2008 Cadillac STS, traveling north on State Route 8 in Victory Township, Venango County.

Police say Rosenstern lost control of his vehicle and crossed over into the left lane of travel before leaving the roadway, traveling approximately 40 feet into the woods, and striking a tree head-on.

He was wearing a seatbelt. He suffered a head injury and was transported to Grove City Hospital by Superior Ambulance Service.

Rosenstern was charged with a traffic violation.

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
