Man Injured in Motorcycle vs Deer Collision on Route 62

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 3:00 p.m. on June 28, a 59-year-old man was injured in a motorcycle crash on State Route 62, 705 feet east of Horsecreek Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, 59-year-old Edward M. Bostaph, of Kane, was traveling north on SR 62 on a 2010 Honda Goldwing and struck a deer.

He suffered injuries of unknown severity.

He was not transported to a medical facility.

He was wearing a motorcycle helmet.

No other information was provided.
