BARKEYVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A Mercer man is facing multiple charges after allegedly posting sexually explicit pictures of an ex-girlfriend and lewd, threatening comments on his Facebook page.

According to court documents, criminal charges were filed against 47-year-old Wade B. Arms, of Mercer.

A criminal complaint filed on April 9 states that Arms posted sexually explicit photos of the victim on Facebook in retaliation of a PFA that she had filed against him.

The pictures showed the victim nude and were captioned, referencing the victim with lewd names. In addition, in the comment area, the Arms allegedly made remarks that threatened bodily harm, the complaint states.

The Facebook posts were done without permission, according to the complaint.

Arms was arraigned at 8:00 p.m. on April 9 in Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office on the following charges:

– Retaliation Against Witness or Victim, Felony 3
– Display Obscene/Sexual Materials, Misdemeanor 1
– Unlawful Dissemination of Intimate Image, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment — Communicate Lewd, Threatening, Etc. Language, Misdemeanor 3

Unable to post monetary $50,000.00 monetary bail, Arms was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is set for April 18, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. with Judge Patrick E. Lowrey.
