Man Seriously Injured After Motorcycle Crashes into SUV

OAKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 21-year-old man was seriously injured Thursday morning after he crashed his motorcycle into an SUV in Oakland Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police said the accident happened around 7:17 a.m. on Wallaceville Road when Dylan S. Culbertson, 21, of Titusville, was traveling south and attempting to pass two vehicles in the southbound lane.

While attempting to pass the vehicles, Culbertson’s 1999 Honda CBR600F struck a northbound 2014 Toyota RAV4 operated by Scott J. Roser, 53, of Titusville.

Culbertson suffered severe injuries to his leg, hand, back, head and neck. He was flown to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

Roser suffered minor injuries and refused medical transport.

Shambaugh Towing removed both vehicles from the scene.
