EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — State police say a man struck two vehicles in Emlenton Borough on Tuesday afternoon, then fled the scene, and later crashed his vehicle in Richland Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 12:46 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 49-year-old Christian Lindenfelser, of Pittsburgh, was operating a 1996 Chevrolet S-10, traveling east on Main Street in Emlenton Borough.

Police say Lindenfelser sideswiped a 2017 Chevrolet Trax in the front left portion causing disabling damage to the vehicle and then also struck a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban with its front portion causing minor damage to the rear portion of the vehicle.

Lindenfelser then fled the scene headed east on Main Street.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

A notice of crash investigation was mailed to the owners of the Trax and the Suburban.

Police say later that afternoon — around 1:24 p.m. — Lindenfelser was traveling west on Panther Springs Road at its intersection with Dotterer Road in Richland Township.

According to police, as Lindenfelser was coming to the intersection with Dotterer Road, he was unable to negotiate the curve to the right and continued in a straight path. His vehicle rolled on the driver’s side and came to final rest on its top resting on the left-hand side of the roadway.

Police say Lindenfelser fled on foot following the crash.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash.
