OI156045415_stillerpeg001[1]Margaret Jane Stiller 82, of 7 East Second St., Oil City, PA., died at 12:30PM Oct 12, 2015 at St Vincent Hospital in Erie.

Born August 5, 1933 in Oil City, PA. , she was the daughter of the late Merle J. Hower and Isabelle L. Alabaugh Cyphert
Mrs. Stiller earned her GED from Oil City Schools.

She was a homemaker her entire life, she had worked for with Sears & Northrup King Seed Co.

She loved taking care of her husband Jim, traveling to visit her children whenever possible, to play bingo with her friends, making craft items for gift giving, reading novels depicting Amish life and playing word search puzzles.

She was married to James A. Stiller (Jim) February 9th 1962 who preceded her in death Jan 1, 2010. Mrs. Stiller was a member of St. Stephen’s Church in Oil City.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and all the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by 9 children and their spouses:

Steve and Rhonda Strickenbarger
Thomas Edward Carey of Hanover, PA.
Daniel Charles Stiller of Shippenville, PA.
James P. Carey of Oil City, PA.
Beth and Mark Anderhalt of Cochranton
Michael J. and Janet Cyphert of Ravenna, OH
Christopher D. and Heather Stiller of Riverview, FL

She is also survived by a daughter-in-law Linda Stiller of Knox, 21 grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and two brothers: Clifford (Bobbie) Hower of Pocono PA, and Edward (Elizabeth) Hower of Thomasville, NC and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sons James Anthony “Tony” Stiller in 1988 and Ricky Carey in 1954, and by one grandson James Stiller and by Sister Shirley Ann Corle.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home at noon with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor of St. Stephen’s Church Presiding.

Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
