Marguerite Wolff, age 85 of Liberty Towers in Clarion died 4/19/12 at the Golden Living in Clarion, PA.

Born in Clarion County on September 19, 1926, she was the daughter of LeRoy Walker and Leona Fescenmyer Walker.

Marquerite worked at Owens-Illinois Glass and was a homemaker.

On June 9, 1946 she married Jay E. Wolff, Jr. They had celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death on January 10, 1997.

She was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Clarion, the Clarion VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the Clarion Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and attending her grandchildren’s school activities.

She is survived by two daughters: Sandy Simpson, Shippenville and Cindy Wolff Neely of Clarion, two sons: Jay E. Wolff III of Clarion, and David “Kendra” Wolff of Shippenville, two sisters: Betty McCleary of Parkersburg, WV and Ann Louise Craft of Franklin, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two sisters: Evelyn Rapp and Lucille Jones and two brothers: Edward and Paul Walker and one grandson: Christopher Wolff.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street, Clarion, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Smith, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery.
