Marion L. Potts, age 88, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, died Monday morning, March 27, 2017 at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Foxburg, PA on October 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Reba Elliott Klingler.

Marion enjoyed playing cards and coordinating senior mystery trips with her local friends and friends from Foxburg. An organizer, Marion also helped in coordinating care for a local man from her neighborhood, doing all the volunteer scheduling. She most proud of being a homemaker. Marion loved all of her many pets through the years, but she especially loved her last dog, Suzie.

Surviving are her husband, Harvey Potts, who she married on June 10, 1950, a daughter, Leslie Hughan (William) of Valencia, a son, Chris Potts (Barbara) of Minneapolis, her grandchildren, Eric (Holly), Kirstie, Thomas (Kristen), Gregory (Kate), Alexa and Michelle, her great grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Owen, Paiton, Colby, Alana, Kasey and Addison.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Yoder.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Foxburg Methodist Church, S. Palmer St. Foxburg. Rev. Daniel Myers, officiating.

Burial will be in Foxburg Episcopal Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Dr. Butler, PA 16001.
