Mrs. Martha J. Rowe, 72, of 118 W. Main St. Titusville, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 1:25 PM at the Titusville Area Hospital following an extended illness.

Martha was born on February 1, 1944 in Titusville to the late Frederick and Thelma Brown Locke. She married Louis Rowe in 1963 in Titusville. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1987.

She attended Titusville schools and was a graduate of Titusville High School class of 1961.

Martha worked for many years as a cashier and office clerk at the former Bilo and Quality Market.

She was a member of the Titusville First Presbyterian Church.

Martha enjoyed going for walks, doing word puzzles, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, and going to her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by her three children; Shaun Rowe, Cheryl Hazelton, and Kelly McDonald, all of Titusville; nine grandchildren, Amber Jamieson, Zachery Burlingam, Devin Hazelton, Mason Brown, Tanner, Brown, Courtney Rowe, Tyler Rowe, Luke Glass, and Travis Wilson ; five great grandchildren, Jayli Burlingam,Dareak Burlingam, Sydney Moore, Josh Reynolds, and Dylan Jamison; and one sister Joan Foley of Titusville.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Richard Locke; and a special friend Gene Hargenrader.

No calling hours will be observed. Friends may attended a funeral service on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Titusville First Presbyterian Church, with interim pastor David Oyler, officiating.

Interment will be at Kerr Hill Cemetery.
