Miss Deitsch enjoyed working crossword puzzles and keeping abreast of the area’s civic and scholastic events. She was a longtime member of the former Franklin Club.

Although she was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she held special lasting friendships with the Eshelman, Hager, Guyton, Reed, and Anderson families and was a beloved lifelong friend of Rose Nesbitt.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 949 Liberty Street, with Monsignor John J. Herbein, pastor officiating. Private interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens at Cranberry.

Memorial contributions, if desired may be made in Mary Ann’s name to St. Patrick Church, 949 Liberty Street, Franklin, PA 16323.

Mary Ann would have wanted a very special thank you noted to the staff of Sugarcreek Station for their loving care through the years; as well as a thank you to Dr. David McCandless and his staff for their care and more importantly longtime personal friendships.
