Mary E. Dziekciasz, 77, of Oil City, died at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019, at the Caring Place in Franklin.
Born Oct. 10, 1941, in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth Neubauer Walentosky.
Mary was a 1959 graduate of Oil City High School.
She was married to Bernard Dzieckiasz and he preceded her in death.
Mary worked as a housekeeper for many years and worked at the Holiday Inn, Hoss’s and for Oil City Chemical.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church and enjoyed playing bingo.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Lisa Wice and her husband Terry of Plumer; three granddaughters, Tara Drivere and her husband Jared of Greenville, Dana Killian and her husband Vincent of Dayton, Ohio and Delaney Rose Gallagher of Pittsburgh; one great-granddaughter, Stella Drivere of Greenville; one sister, Dolly Eakin of Oil City; and four brothers, Phil Walentosky of Oil City, Joseph Walentosky, Tom Walentosky and Pat Walentosky, all of Colorado.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah J. Dziekciasz Gallagher; two sisters, Patricia Stanford and Judith Culver; and one brother, Dan Walentosky.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Venango County Humane Society.
