klescz 001Mary Eva Klescz, 93, of Cowell Ave. Oil City, PA. , died at 9:00 A.M. Monday May 4, 2015 at the Golden Living Center.

Born Nov. 15, 1921 in Force, PA., she was the daughter of the late Stanley & Helen Maloney Gardner.

She was educated at St. Joseph Schools in Oil City and graduated from Welch’s Business college.

Mrs. Klescz was married on Oct. 1, 1949 to Frank A. Klescz and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2005.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Stephen’s Church and the rosary society at the church. She also belonged to the former Legion of Mary. Throughout her life Mary was always devoted to the Blessed Mother.
Mary enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

Before her marriage, Mary had worked for the Derrick and at Veach’s, later in life she was employed as a Title 1 Math Aide for the Oil City Area School District.

She is survived by four children and their spouses, Maretta Ann Durney & her husband John of Oil City, James Andrew Klescz & his wife Diane Dee of Tarzana, CA, Mary Grace Baker & husband Eric of St. Joseph, MI, Francis Klescz & his wife Tammy of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Durney, Matthew George Durney, John James Durney, Michael Fridolfs & his wife Jennifer, Timothy Ryan Baker & his wife Tracie, Amy Folwell, Matthew Folwell; three great grandchildren Ryan & Hunter Fridolfs and Nolan Baker.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John James Gardner and Julian Eugene Gardner.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 7-9 P.M. on Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 :00 A.M. Friday in St. Stephen’s Church with Fr. Matthew Ruyechan, Pastor, presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen’s Second Century Fund, the VNA Foundation or to the Golden Living Center.
