Mary G. Maxim, 82, of Liberty Twp., died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Northside Medical Center.

Mary was born December 21, 1934 in Kissinger Mills, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Bruce and Mary Simpson.

Mary had worked for many years as a restaurant hostess and manager, having worked for, Talk of Town, The Lamp Post and The Twentieth Century Restaurant.

She loved playing bingo, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Edward T. Maxim, whom she married December 19, 1977, her sons; Terry W. Bigley of Boardman and James D. (Karen) Bigley of Campbell, sisters; Becky Sleigher and Linda Ganoe, brothers; Eugene Simpson and John Simpson, grandchildren; Jeremy (Gina) Bigley, Aaron Bigley and James Bigley and a great-grandson, Cameron Bigley.

She is preceded in death by her sisters; June Divins, Sally Kreibel, Carol Clark and Peggy Lou Simpson and brothers; Ed, Pete, Jack, Jim, Larry, and Eric Simpson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8th, 1:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 until the time of service.

Mary will be laid to rest at Churchill Cemetery.
