Mary Helen Senard, 98, of Clarion, passed away Friday morning August 18, 2017 at her home. She is the last surviving member of her family.

She was born on July 25, 1919 in Marbel. The daughter of the late Maurice and Blanche Snyder Senard.

Mary graduated from the Immaculate Conception Catholic School of Clarion in 1935.

She was the County Executive Director of the Department of AG Clarion County, retiring after 50 years.

Mary was a very active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Clarion.

She enjoyed trips to the casino.

Mary is survived by a niece, Margaret Senard of Clarion and great nephews Stephen Senard and wife Deb of Maumee, Ohio; Robert Senard and wife Stacey of Brookville; Eric Senard and wife Cathy of Hastings, Michigan and great nieces Cathy Zerbe and husband Jim of Kossuth; Patti Craig of Clarion, Marcie Senard and friend Bob of Indiana. She is also survived by her caregiver, Lori Wolbert.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Joseph Senard and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.

A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion with the Rev. Monty Sayers Pastor presiding.

Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
