Mary L. Cummings, 87, of Laurelbrooke Landing, Brookville, formerly of Clarion, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the McKinley Health Center in Brookville.

Born March 3, 1926 in Brookville; she was the daughter of John and Mabel Vallimont Leech.

She was married on May 17, 1952 to James Cummings; who preceded her in death on January 1, 2005.

Mrs. Cummings was a homemaker.

She was a member of the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church, Clarion.

Mary always had a wonderful sense of humor, she loved to travel, enjoyed camping, crafts, and winter visits to Florida.

She is survived by a daughter, Laurie Miller and her husband, Mac, of New Orleans, and a son, Jeffrey J. Cummings of Knox; five grandchildren, Christine, Carole, Jack, Derek and Brandon; and numerous great grandchildren.

Mary is also survived by brothers John R. Leech of Denver, Colorado; Robert E. Leech of Brookville; Sisters Dolores Hice of Marston Mills, MA, Sandra Convey and husband Hugh of Moorehead, KY; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Howard Leech, and a sister, Martha Leech.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church, Clarion, with Rev. James Dietrich, pastor of the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Interment will be held in the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
