It was announced at the Tuesday, January 9, county commissioners meeting that petitions for the May Primary being held May 15, 2018, can be circulated starting February 13 and must be returned by March 6.
Some positions that are up for election in the primary include the following:
– State Representative;
– Democratic and Republican State Committee positions;
– Democratic Committeeman, and Committeewoman positions;
– the United States Senate from Pennsylvania;
– Governor; and
– Lt. Governor.
Petitions can be picked up in the courthouse starting February 13.
