FOXBURG, Pa. (EYT) – A mechanical failure caused a crash early yesterday morning in the Foxburg area.

Clarion-based state police said the accident happened on Route 58 around 5:30 a.m. when 27-year-old Leroy E. Ealy, of Emlenton, lost control of his 1998 Subaru Forrester due to a mechanical failure in the vehicle’s right front wheel.

Police said the vehicle exited the west side of Route 58 and crashed into an embankment before colliding with a road sign.

Ealy was not injured in the crash.
