MERCER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, a Mercer County woman was found stabbed to death in her home on Saturday afternoon.
Police say 42-year-old Tracey Lynn Goga was found by her father in her upstairs apartment at 322 E. State St., Sharon, Pa.
According to sources, Goga’s father called 911 at approximately 2:00 p.m., and she was declared dead by the coroner around 2:30 p.m.
According to police, there was evidence of a struggle, and there were multiple stab wounds on Goga’s neck and torso.
Police say 19-year-old Anthony S. Argenziano was arrested at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Saturday evening at the Greyhound Bus Station in Youngstown, Ohio; he was charged with one count of criminal homicide.
Argenziano was taken to Mahoning County Jail pending extradition to Mercer County.
Police are looking for Goga’s vehicle, a 1998 purple Dodge Caravan. The minivan has pinstripes and dark tinted windows; it also has some light damage to its rear bumper.
Anyone with information about Goga’s vehicle is asked to report it to Sharon police at 724-662-6110.
