MERCER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, a Mercer man, who has been accused of four counts of making child pornography, was ordered federally detained on Friday pending a full detention hearing on Monday.

Sources say U.S. Magistrate Judge Maureen Kelly made a temporary order of detention for 58-year-old Earl D. Warner of Mercer, Pa.

Judge Kelly says Warner faces 15 to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Warner was indicted for making sexually explicit visual depictions of four children — all under age 13 — from June 4 through July 23, 2011.

Warner has not made $75,000 straight bond on state charges for which he faces a preliminary hearing Thursday; Judge Kelly seeks federal detention in case he makes state bond or charges in state court are dismissed.

The state charges include three counts each of unlawful contact, corruption, aggravated indecent assault, and indecent assault of minors.
