Michael LimrickMichael A. Limrick, 62, of Brookville, died Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Jefferson Manor following a brief illness.

Born October 13, 1954 in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Clifford A. and Della M. (Rager) Limrick.
 
Mr. Limrick was a 1972 graduate of Punxsutawney High School.

He then attended Penn State University, majoring in Elementary Education. 

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

On May 3, 1990, he married the former Jacqueline Long at the Richardsville Baptist Church; she survives and resides in Brookville.

Mr. Limrick retired from Goodwill Industries. 

He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time at home.
 
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Martin of Charleston, SC and Shawn Limrick of Strattanville, PA; three daughters, Richelle Haas and her husband Perry of Shillington, PA, Angela Fairman and her husband Mike of Punxsutawney, and Erin Davies of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one soon-to-be great-grandchild; and three sisters, Joan White and her husband Ray of North Carolina, Regina Bowers and her husband Gary of Marion Center, PA, and Pam Phillips and her husband Jim of Burnside, PA.  Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Rebecca Brew of Buffalo, NY.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. 

There will be a memorial service at a later date. 

Interment will be in the Richardsville Cemetery in Jefferson County, PA.
