Michael Arthur McMunn, 57, of Oil City, died unexpectedly, November 28, 2017, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born May 20, 1960, in Oil City, he was a son of Marylou Rose Kerr McMunn and the late Arthur L. McMunn.

Mr. McMunn attended Oil City High School and served in the National Guard.

He worked at RK Virgile and as a flooring installer for Heist Furniture and Meyer Flooring.

Mike loved metal scrapping, collecting model cars, working on bikes, and fishing.

Surviving are five sons, Shane McMunn and his wife Karen, Brad McMunn and his fiancée Bridget Carter, and Tyler McMunn all of Florence, SC, Ryan Guth of Franklin, and Damien Craft and his wife Elizabeth of Columbia, SC; two daughters, Casey McMunn of Florence, SC and Danielle Guth of Franklin; and thirteen grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Scott McMunn and his wife Connie of Oil City and two sisters, Robyn Guth and her husband Steve of Franklin and Rose Meyer and her husband Nevin of Estero, FL.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Arthur McMunn.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Friday from 11 to 1 pm.

Interment will be in Sunville Cemetery.
