Michael D LockhartMichael D. “Fuzz” Lockhart, 57, of 311 Linden Ave. Oil City, PA., died at 1:15 P.M. Friday Feb. 24, 2017 at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca after a year-long battle with cancer.

Born Nov. 30, 1959 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of Ned & Sally Jones Lockhart.

Mike was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He was employed many years at PennDot where he was an inspector with the motor carrier enforcement. He recently retired due to his health from Klapec Trucking Inc., where he was the safety director.

Mike was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends, fishing trips, tent city and spending time with his fiance Lori.

His children were very important to him and he would do anything for them.

Mike was an avid fan of Pittsburgh Sports, especially the Penguins and the Steelers.

In addition to his parents Ned & Sally Lockhart of Oil City

he is survived by his fiance Lori Lisk of Oil City; his children, James Lockhart & his fiance Rebekah Simpson of Pollocksville, NC, Emily Stevens & her husband Justin of Merced, CA, Phil Crabtree & his wife Heather of Vanceboro, NC; his granddaughter Hadley Crabtree; a sister, Susan Simpson & her husband Norman of Oil City; a brother, Stephen Lockhart & his wife Melissa of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; and a brother-in-law, Tim Mohnkern of Wayzata, MN; and the following nieces and nephews, Stephanie McClellan, Sarah Heckathorn, Nicole Simpson, Maggie Mohnkern and Hannah Lockhart; as well as 7 Great Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister Karen Mohnkern.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home and again from 12:30P.M.-1:30 P.M.Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. in the Church with Rev. Ronee Christy, Pastor, Presiding.

Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery.
