Michael E. “Mike” Miller, 64, of Clarion, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017, as a result of an accident working on his deer stand near his home.

He was born on October 16, 1953 in Oil City; son of the late DuWayne and Thelma Raybuck Miller of Clarion.

Mike married Dr. Andrea Samuelson on June 10, 1983, and she survives.

He graduated from Clarion Area High School in 1971 and graduated from Clarion State College in 1977 with a degree in Accounting.

Mike worked in the mobile and modular home industry all his life and retired from Penn West Homes in Emlenton as a controller.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarion, Clarion Moose Lodge #101, Clarion Eagles #3807, the Antler Club in Lucinda, Clarion Masonic Lodge #277 and the Coudersport Consistory.

Mike enjoyed old cars, riding his motorcycle, hunting, spending time with his daughter, taking walks with his dog, and socializing with friends.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Lena Miller of Clarion, his mother, Thelma, a brother, Patrick Miller and wife Barbara of Manassas, VA, and his dog, Buffy.

Mike was preceded in death by his father.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.

Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 in the Funeral Home with Services to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randy Leadbetter, Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clarion.

Memorial Donations can be made in Mike’s name to the First Baptist Church, 649 Main Street Clarion, PA 16214 or of one’s own choice.
