Michael “Mike” Lee Ross

Michael “Mike” Lee Ross, 60, of Erie and formerly of Oil City, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Golden Living – Walnut Creek, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 15, 1954, in Oil City to Ruth Mortimer Ross and the late Harry Ross, Jr.

He was a graduate of both Oil City High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mike was a graphic artist for the Times Publishing Company until his retirement in 2014.

Mike enjoyed photography, reading, enjoying his computer, and studying the word of God. He was creative and was always working on a project. He was a loyal and faithful husband, father, and friend, whose mission was to know God and serve him with his life. He has finally heard the words, “well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23

Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Patty Morrison Ross; two daughters, Hannah Ayers (Richard) of Girard and Lydia Ross of Millcreek; his siblings are Linda Ross (James Timm) of Kilmarnock, Va., David Ross (Cherryn) of Harborcreek and Sharon Ross of Greensburg, Pa., and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank the following physicians and their staffs for the excellent medical care Mike received: Dr. John Mingey, Dr. Daniel Loesch, Dr. Conrad Stachelek, and Dr. Jan Rothman at the RCC, and the compassionate care he received from the staff at Golden Living – Walnut Creek.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday for the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
