Mildred BrozeskiMildred M. ( Millie ) Brozeski, 91, of 220 Spruce St. Oil City, PA., passed away peacefully at her residence late Thursday afternoon after a period of declining health.

Born in Oil City, PA. on Feb. 17, 1926 to the late Joseph and Josephine Maziarz Dabrowski.

Millie attended Assumption B.V.M. Schools and was a graduate of Oil City High School.

A lifelong resident of Oil City, she had belonged to the Golden Agers, the Polish Womens Alliance , PNA, and was a life member of the Pulaski Club. She had bowled with the Pulaski Pussycats.

Millie most recently became the oldest member of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary Church. She also belonged to the Rosary Society.

She had worked at Veach’s in the Gift Department for many years.

She most enjoyed being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

On June 24, 1944 she married Carl S. Brozeski in Del Hart, TX and he preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1992. Together they owned and operated the Pastel Music Store on Spring St.

Her survivors include two sons, Edward and Cindy Brozeski of Oil City and David and Ruth Brozeski of Blairsville; 6 grandchildren, Laura Barber & her husband Chris, Melissa Lucci & her husband Chris, Adam Brozeski, David & Cindy Brozeski, Brian & Jayme Brozeski, Kasia Brozeski & her fiance David Hyde; 14 great grandchildren also survive; 1 sister- in-law, Joan Slater of Oil City; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded by 1 son Joe Brozeski; 3 sisters Mary Bosco, Catherine Wromble, and Anna O’Polka; and 3 brothers John, Dominic, and Stanley Dabrowski.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 Sunday in the Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Assumption BVM Church with Fr. Justin P. Pino presiding.

Internment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
